Meet Jon

Biography

I answered the call into vocational ministry back in 1992, and it was a tremendous joy and honor to serve God and His people for over 33 years as a pastor. My favorite part of that role was coming alongside of people individually and helping them gain clarity and insight into what God wants them to do with their lives. So, now that I have completed that calling, Life Coaching just seemed like the perfect fit for me. It maximizes what I do best and enjoy the most.

In July of 1997 I married my college sweetheart, Beth, and we have two awesome children — one who is a chemist, and one who is an athletic trainer.

In May of 2022, I completed the Coaching Mastery Certification Program. And since then, I have enjoyed coaching several individuals – from CEO’s to Executive Directors – and a number of people who simply need help finding their next calling in life.

Professionalism and Experience

"We become what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit."

Philosophy

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every individual has the potential for growth as a person. I prioritize creating an environment where learning is continuous, mistakes are seen as opportunities, and success is a product of hard work and perseverance. I focus on developing mental resilience and leadership qualities. By fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere, I aim to inspire clients and business leaders to push themselves to become confident, well-rounded individuals.

I also value the holistic development of the person, encouraging them to balance all aspects of their lives, such as work, relationships, and personal well-being. By building strong character and a sense of responsibility, I aim to inspire clients to excel not only in their field, but in life beyond it.
